On July 12, 2013 history was made in Armenia. Armenian Masons from around the world gathered near the capital city of Yerevan to lay the corner stone for the first Masonic Grand Lodge Temple in Armenia. Lead by the Master of Ceremonies, PGM MW Armen Garadedian, the Grand Officers and the Brethren marched in procession to the North East corner site to lay the corner stone in its special designated place. M.W. Armen Simonian, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Armenia, placed the corner stone and addressed the brethren with a very moving speech emphasizing on the importance and significance of the event. It was a great honor to have among the present PGM M.W. Christopher Sahakian who was our First Grand Master and one of the founding fathers of Grand Lodge of Armenia. After the ceremony, our Senior Grand Warden, R.W. Brother Karen Hagopyan invited all the Brethren to his own residence for a champagne celebration.

We look forward, with the contribution and support of all our Armenian Brothers, to erect this beautiful edifice in the very near future, to the Glory of the Great Architect of the Universe and to the honor our people and our beloved Craft.

Նշանակալի օր Ազատ Որմնադրության պատմության մեջ

2013թ. Հուլիսի 13-ին պատմություն էր կերտվում Հայաստանում: Ողջ աշխարհից հայ Ազատ Որմնադիրները հավաքվել էին մայրաքաղաք Երևանի մերձակայքում՝ տեղադրելու Որմնադրական Գերագույն Օթյակի Հայաստանում առաջին Տաճարի անկյունաքարը: Ծիսակատարության կառավարիչ Ն.Գ.Մ.Վ  ԳԵ Արմեն Կարապետյանի գլխավորությամբ Գերագույն պաշտոնյաները և եղբայրները երթով ուղևորվեցին Հյուսիս-Արևելյան անկյունը ՝ տեղադրելու անկյունաքարը իրեն հատուկ նշագրված տեղում: Հայոց Գերագույն Օթյակի Գերագույն Մեծարգո Վարպետ Գ.Ե Արմեն Սիմոնյանը տեղադրեց անկյունաքարը և դիմեց եղբայրներին հուզիչ ուղերձով ՝ շեշտադրելով միջոցառման կարևորությունն ու յուրահատկությունը: Բարձրագույն պատիվ էր ի թիվս այլոց Ն.Գ.Մ.Վ  ԳԵ Քրիստոֆեր Սահակյանի ներկայությունը, ով մեր առաջին Գերագույն Վարպետն է և Հայոց Գերագույն Օթյակի հիմնադրող եղբայրներից մեկը, որը բացառիկ և անփոխարինելի դեր է խաղացել այդ գործում: Արարողությունից հետո Գերագույն Ավագ Հսկիչ Հ.Գ.Ե. Կարեն Հակոբյանը հրավիրեց բոլորին իր տուն շամպայնով շնորհավորելու հիմնարկեքը:

Մենք լի ենք սպասումով՝ բոլոր մեր Հայ Եղբայրների աջակցությամբ  և նվիրատվություններով վեր խոյացնել այս հոյակերտ կառույցը՝ ի փառս Տիեզերքի Մեծն Ճարտարապետի և ի պատիվ մեր ժողովրդի ու մեր սիրելի Միաբանությանը:
