Lodge Dunblane takes to the streets in support of struggling families
All Lodge Dunblane wants for Christmas is enough grocery items to feed hungry families for another year.
As the Christmas season draws closer, WM of Lodge Dunblane Gub Billick and his brethren are taking part in the annual Christmas Trolley Drive.
On December 7, a joyous procession of trolleys made it's way along Ware St accompanied by the Australian Army Band to the Uniting Church's diner, where the emptying cupboard shelves will be restocked with a year's-worth of food.
This year's trolley drive attracted over 160 trolleys.
"We have great support from local businesses and in particular primary schools," Gub said.
"It's a great educational tool for kids to learn that we have people in our community who need help and a great way for Freemasonry to help."
