Crohn's Awareness Dinner

Crohn’s disease can involve any part of the gastrointestinal tract from top to bottom but most commonly affects the small intestine and/or the colon. Within a diseased section, Crohn’s disease can affect all layers of the intestinal wall (i.e. not just the lining), causing severe pain and bleeding. This disease does not discriminate and attacks children as well as adults.

Last year Lodge Galileo helped organise the first ever fundraising event to be held in Australia for Crohn's and Colitis Australia raising just over $39,000.00.

This year Lodge Galileo have decided to raise much needed funds for the Childrens Hospital at Randwick for research into Crohn's. This event is proving even bigger and better than last year with one company already pledging $10,000. The goal for this year is to reach a target of $50,000.00.
