Young Achiever Awards

The Freemasons of NSW & ACT are proud to again support the NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards.

The Young Achiever Awards recognise exceptional achievements of our young people throughout NSW and the ACT.

The awards applaud leadership, vision and commitment while fostering the pursuit of excellence and highlighting the efforts and success of young people making meaningful contributions to their community.

The NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards give recognition to the many inspirational young people who are striving to strengthen the future of our States. They are individuals who go about their lives doing what they are passionate about and what is best for their friends, family and communities.

The Awards offer a chance to applaud and say thank you to the many Young people in our communities that make them a great place to live.

This is a joint project of the Board of Management, Masonicare and the SMC Conference & Function Centre in projecting a positive connection with the wider community.

SMC Conference & Function Centre is the official event partner, hosting the Official Launch in September, The Sponsors Networking lunch in January, Judging Day in February and the Awards Presentation Gala Dinner in April.

The launch held in the Ionic Room on Wednesday 23 September 2015 was chaired by Channel 7 personality Christy Jones and officially opened by The Hon Natasha Maclaren-Jones, Member of the Legislative Council representing Premier of NSW, Hon Mike Baird.

Stephen Green in his capacity as Director, SMC Conference & Function Centre, welcomed all the dignitaries and sponsors.

Andrew Fraser, MP, Member for Coffs Harbour and Chairman of Masonicare announced that Masonicare, as Prize Sponsor, are providing a $2,500 cash prize and trophy to each of the seven category winners and an additional $5,000 and trophy to the overall winner.

Bruce Munro, Chairman of the Board of Management, launched the Freemasons NSW/ACT Community Service Award.
