Born in Logan, Utah, he was educated in grammar schools, and at Hitchcock Military Academy in San Rafeal California.

He was identified with the stage from early childhood, and later became a writer, director and cutter of motion pictures.

As an actor he was a leading character in many movies including Big Parade and Merry Widow.

 

Masonic Details not known but is listed as a Mason in Denslows 10,000 Freemasons.
