St. Nicholas Day
This year our Brotherhood commemorated St. Nicholas Day in a beautiful and wise manner. The MW Grand Master of UGLB, Bro. Ivan Sariev, and Brethren from the Light of the Thracians Lodge bestowed warmth and light to the children of the SOS-Children’s Village in Dren. In it there are 65 children without parental support, raised in a family-like environment They rely on the help and love of many good people. On this auspicious day a lunch was prepared for them with the typical for this festive day seafood dishes. We gave them books and fishing tackle: rods, fishing stools, hats ... For their part, the children surprised us with their paintings.
On that day there was much joy in the children’s eyes, the atmosphere was warm and cordial, sparkling with light.
