Tribute to the Victims of the National Liberation War

Upon the invitation of Lodge "Mizia", Orient Pleven, on 3 March 2013 a large group of Brethren, Worshipful Masters of Lodges, Grand Lodge Officers, Members of Committees and the Supreme Masonic Court, headed by the Grand Master - MW Bro. Ivan Sariev, participated in the traditional celebration of the National Holiday of the Republic of Bulgaria in Pleven. A festive Ritual work was organized by the local Lodge "Mizia", followed by laying of flowers at the memorial of the Mausoleum-ossuary "Sveti Georgi", built in memory of the 31,000 Russians and 7,500 Romanians killed in the battle for Pleven during the National War for Liberation (1877-1878).
