Midsummer Day National Masonic Ball
The Masonic festive day – Midsummer Day is over. Keeping the tradition of conducting universal celebration of a charitable nature, this time the approach to the organization was changed. It was decided to organize a festival in each Orient, as each Lodge would decide for itself by creating an opportunity, through a video link in six predetermined basis points, for Brethren to exchange greetings and cheers.
The majority of the Lodges from Orient Sofia celebrated in the Moscow Park Hotel in Sofia. 239 Brethren from different Constituent Lodges, accompanied by their Sisters, including 28 Brethren and Sisters from Israel, attended the ball. Some Lodges celebrated in their Orients, such as the Pearl of Sliven, in Plovdiv – The Arc of Plovdiv Lodge together with New Light Lodge, in Ruse – Danube Star Lodge. Orient Veliko Tarnovo gathered the Lodges Tsarevets 2008 and Gabrovo in Emen and the Lodges Brotherhood, Dawn, Light of the Thracians and Balkan Star – in Arbanasi. The planed and implement video link between the Brethren celebrating in Plovdiv, Ruse, Sliven and Arbanasi provided additional sturdiness to the strength of the Fraternal Chain.
