District Grand Lodge of Spain

ANCIENT AND HONOURABLE FRATERNITY OF FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS

The Masonic High Council for England and Wales has approved by unanimity the creation of The District Grand Lodge of Spain, in accordance with the Ancient Constitutions of the first and Original English Masons at York 1705.

The MHC approved the creation of a District Grand Lodge for Spain on the 23rd of June 2005 AD to rule over all Craft Lodges in Spain, and to take special care that all and every Brethren are or have been regularly made Masons and that they and all other Members of the District Grand Lodge of Spain do observe perform and keep the Laws Rules and Orders contained in the Book of Constitutions and all others which may from time to time be made by the Regular Grand Lodge of England or transmitted to us or our Successors Grand Masters or by our Deputy Grand Master for the time being. And we do enjoin the District Grand Lodge of Spain to make such By-Laws for the government of the Lodges within the Masonic District of Spain as shall to the majority of the Members appear proper and necessary the same not being contrary to or inconsistent with the General Laws and Regulations of the Craft Freemasonry.

It being our will and intention that the District Grand Lodge of Spain shall continue to be in force in conform to the Laws and Regulations of the Federation of Lodges and Grand Lodges under The Regular Grand Lodge of England.
