The United Grand Lodges of Serbia Masonic Library is the first specialized Masonic Library in the region of Western Balkans. It works under the supervision of the United Grand Lodges of Serbia, supported by its members, and it is housed in the UGLS Temple in Belgrade, Serbia. Its mission is to provide educational material on the subject of Freemasonry and related subjects, to the members of the UGLS and all Serbian Freemasons, as well as to all interested researchers. The programs and activities of the Library are organized through the Committee on Library of the UGLS, presided by the Grand Librarian. Library is managed by the Director of Library, a full time employee of the UGLS.
Working hours of the library are 11 AM to 7PM Monday to Friday all year round.
In its book colection, UGLS Library has a large number of books on Royal Arch Symbolism, Degrees, and history, as well as on other subject related to York Rite.
Constant education of its members is one of the most important aspects of the long term development of the GCRAMS. To facilitate best possible educational tools and conditions, GCRAMS, besides enriching UGLS library funds, in cooperation with UGLS, has extensive publishing program. We have published Manuals for all four RAM degrees, Ritual Books, as well as books on various masonic subjects. |
