The Supreme Grand Chapter of Upper India was established at Mohali (Chandigarh), on 22nd January 1995 by a group of regularly exalted companions and installed Principal Zs.
 
The Founder Grand Principals were:

19th Grand Convocation of Supreme Grand Chapter of Upper India was held at Masonic Complex, Daun. Mohali. on Sunday 9th December 2012. M.E. Comp Dr. Satwinder Singh Bhamra was installed as the First Grand Principal for a three years term.

He then appointed, invested and installed

Le 19ème Convent du Grand chapitre Suprême du Nord de L’Inde s'est tenue au Siège maçonnique de Daun à Mohali le dimanche 9 décembre 2012. Le Très Respectable Comp Dr Satwinder Singh Bhamra a été installé comme le Premier Grand Principal pour un mandat de trois ans.
