The Farthest North Shrine Club
The Farthest North Shrine Club IN THE WORLD! What a thrill it is to be a member of this club. The earliest writings indicate that the club was active before 1912, under the Nile Temple of Washington. Many famous Nobles have visited our little group. The most famous may well be Nobles Will Rogers and Wiley Post. These Nobles spent their last night in Fairbanks and attended a ceremonial while here. They departed from here on fateful flight to Barrow from Harding Lake, the location of our Shrine Cabin. As a side note, they were going to Barrow to visit Bro. Charles Brower, 32°.
Fairbanks Shriners are known for their hospitality,
fellowship, and Fantastic Feasts at our little cabin by the lake. Summertime, we have the
best parties in the state at Harding Lake, where our Club House is located. RV
electrical hookups are provided for our Nobles and guests, with parking available for at
least a dozen rigs. Our biggest Party is the Annual Shrine Picnic, the Sunday after
the Golden Days Parade. The parade is on the third Saturday of July with the Picnic
on Sunday. All Shriners are invited to both events. Be prepared for a GREAT
Time.

The FNSC is proud to be a part of the Al Aska Shrine Located in Anchorage, Al Aska is one of the youngest Shrines in the nation, formed in 1981.
The pride of the Farthest North Shrine Club is Imperial Sir Burt Oien. Burt is a past President of the Farthest North Shrine Club and Past Potentate of Al Aska Temple. Burt is the first Imperial Potentate from Alaska. A great beginning for the next century.
