The Liberal Grand Lodge of Austria is happy to see an interest in our organisation.

Freemasonry has a long and noble tradition. However, in our opinion, that is not enough to justify its ends and aims. We live in the present. The knowledge gained from our predecessors and the ritual can give us encouragement for deeds and thoughts in the present; what we may not lose sight of is development towards a more humane, advanced world, which can only be achieved by each single person striving towards self-knowledge, self-containment, and self-perfection.
