Grand Secretary

NIGEL BROWN

Nigel Brown was born in 1948, in Lusaka, in then Northern Rhodesia, and was educated in Southern Rhodesia and at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. He was commissioned into the Grenadier Guards, retiring as a Captain.

He subsequently spent 15 years in senior management, followed by 12 years as a business consultant specialising in advising clients on winning competitive global tenders.

Nigel is married with two adult children, and has been a Freemason for over 25 years. He was appointed as a Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies in 2005, serving until his appointment as Grand Secretary in February 2007.
