Masons gather to install new Provincial Grand Master
Press and Journal – 1st July 2006

The Spa Pavillion in Strathpeffer was temporarily transformed into a Masonic Lodge last week to accomodate the Installation of Ramsay McGhee as the new Provincial Grand Master of Ross and Cromarty. It was a truly colourful, international occasion with more than 300 Brethren in attendance from as far away as Ghana, Trinidad and Togabo and from throughout the British Isles - from Shetland to Devon. The Installation ceremonry was carried out by Sir Archibald Donald Orr Ewing, the Grand Master Mason of the Grand Lodge of Scotland after which Denise Clark and her staff transformed the pavilion from a Masonic Lodge into a five star restaurant for the installation dinner, which was purveyed by Charles Munro of Swift Catering in Alness.

Many of the Brethren and their wives who were visiting from afar stayed in Strathpeffer over the weekend and throughly enjoyed the experience.
