The Grand Lodge of Scotland is pleased to announce that it will sponsor the National Youth Orchestra Scotland STAFFA Award for 2007. The award is open to nominated students from eight music Conservatories in the United Kingdom. The Principals of the Conservatories are invited to nominate three students for auditions in London, England. Three candidates are then chosen to attend the final award performance. Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third laureates. Details of the award ceremony are as follows:

The award ceremony is therefore to be held the evening prior to the opening of the International Conference on the History of Freemasonry (ICHF) which is to be held in Freemasons' Hall 25th - 27th May 2007.
