It has recently been announced that the second International Conference (ICHF) on the History of Fremasonry will be held in Edinburgh in May 2009.

It is expected that as for ICHF 2007 it will be held on the last weekend of May - 29th, 30th and 31st May 2009. A call for papers and other details will be issued before the end of 2007.

2009 is a significant year for Scotland and Freemasonry as it marks the 250th birthday of Scotland's National Bard - Brother Robert Burns. It is hoped that a part of the conference will be devoted to Robert Burns and especially his Masonic activities.
