The Grand Lodge of Scotland is pleased to announce that a cover commemorating the Freemason Brother James 'Abyssinian' Bruce of Kinnaird. Bruce is shown in full colour taken from an oil portrait by Batoni in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.

The commemorative cover is personally signed by the Earl of Elgin and Kincardine, K.T., C.D., LL.D., Past Grand Master (1961 - 1965) and comes in a protective plastic sleeve. The envelope contains a four page information leaflet.

The postage stamp is a first class Scottish 'Lion Rampant' stamp which has been cancelled by specially commissioned Grand Lodge of Scotland hand stamp.

All these elements combine to make something unique and of high quality. This item is a limited edition and will be sold on a first come first served. The commemorative cover will go on sale for the first time at the Installation and Festival of Saint Andrew on Thursday, 29th November at a cost of £9.99.
