The Edinburgh International Festival and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe run concurrently during 3rd August - 25th August.

As previously Freemasons' Hall will a major venue during these Festivals and therefore only the Museum (situated on the second floor) will be accessible during the period Friday, 18th July to Monday, 1st September (both dates included). The additional days before and after the festival is allow for conversion and protection work to be carried out.

Tours of the Museum will contune to be provided to visitors but it will not be possible to view other areas of the building.
