Flute, player Sarah Quakrat, impressed judges to win the prestigious National Youth Orchestra of Scotland Staffa award.

The 22-year-old gave a stunning performance at the city's Freemasons’ Hall to win the £3000 prize.

She performed alongside cellist, Stjepan Hauser, who won third prize last Wednesday. The second prize was given to trumpeter Philip Cobb.
