From Wednesday, 19 July to 8 September 2009 (both dates included) there will be no tours of Freemasons' Hall.

This is because the most of the building will be used as a Edinburgh Festival Fringe venue which runs in tandem with the Edinburgh International Arts Festival. For more information about this major international arts festival please click on the previous links.

However, Freemasons and members of the public are welcome to visit the Muesum (located on the second floor and access is by stairs only). A guide will be on hand to provide tours of the Museum at 10.00 am and 2.00 pm daily.
