Image The 39th edition of Scotland's only Masonic magazine is available now. It is hard to believe that more than ten years have passed sinece the first issue and it just keeps getting better!

The magazine is now more than 70 pages in a handy A5 size. The imahes are in full colour and cover numerous aspects of Scottish Freemasonry both national and international.

This issue has a diverse range of subjects but hardly surprising are a number relating to Scotland's National Bard - Brother Robert Burns. Add to that an interesting articles relating to Commondore Walker, John Boswell of Auchinleck in 1598 and details of the foundation of two 'Scottish' Lodges one in Basel Switzerland and the other in Rome, Italy, (and a lot more besides) this issue is bound to have something of interest to every Freemason.

The Ashlar is published by Circle Publications, 19 Upper Glenfinlas Street, Helensburgh, Scotland, G84 7HE.
