The Brindley and Foster organ in Freemasons' Hall, Edinburgh, has now been completely renovated and to mark the completion of the work an inaugural concert of ogran music will be held on Saturday, 27 March. Admission is free. For more details click here or on the previous link.

In addition to the concert the Grand Lodge of Scotland has commissioned a CD of organ music (see the CD cover image above) which was recorded from the organ late in 2009. The Grand Organist, Simon Nieminski, M.A., F.R.C.O., A.R.C.M., has brought together a most interesting selection of music. The CD will cost £12.99.
