Prior to the first public performance of the renovated Brindley and Foster organ was complete Simon Nieminski, Grand Organist was commissioned by Grand Lodge to produce a CD of organ music (see the CD cover image) which was recorded from the organ September 2009.
The opportunity was taken to film Simon playing the organ together with images of Grand Hall. Part of that filming is now available to
">view on YouTube. The film is of 8 minutes 38 seconds duration and gives an excellent introduction to the music CD. It also contains some excellent views of Grand Hall and there is an interview with the people who restored the organ. To see the video
