Although the spring and autumn Open Days are primarily for new members who have not previously visited Freemasons' Hall (the home of Scottish Freemasonry) all Freemasons (and friends and relatives) are welcome.

Doors open at 12.00 noon and the last admission will be 3.15 and doors will close at 4.00 pm. Conducted tours of the building will be provided by our team of volunteer guides. As the Open Day will be held on a Saturday there will be the opportunity to see rooms that are not always accessible during the working week.

A full tour usually takes approximately one hour (more if you ask lots of questions!) so please time your arrival accordingly.

Some have asked if a group can be accommodated from a Lodge or Province and the answer is yes! If you intend coming as part of a group (especially if more than 10 are in the group) it would be helpful if you could let us know in advance the number and time so that we ensure that someone is on hand. If you are planning a Lodge visit please send an email to: This email address is being protected from spambots.
