History of the Province of Dunbartonshire

Soon after the Grand Lodge was established it was realised that some Lodges were so far away that some more local oversight was needed. Thus the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire was born with Brother Alexander Drummond as the first Provincial Grand Master. There is an increasing amount of information regarding Grand Lodge and many of its daughter Lodges. This history is, therefore, important in that it provides a detailed insight to a negelected area of Scottish Masonic history.

This book, by Brother Angus N. McInness, was published to mark the 250th anniversary on the Province.
