Resource Efficiency Action Plans (REAPs)

Resource Efficiency Action Plans have been prepared and being delivered for bricks and concrete masonry as part of the Precast Concrete REAP.

Resource efficiency is an important component of the wider ranging sustainability agenda. The REAPs cover the whole life of the product: from sourcing of constituents, production, transport, construction, maintenance and end of life.

Since it covers the whole life, participants in the REAP extend beyond the material producers to include for example logistics, designers and demolition contractors.
