It is my sad duty during this Christmas season to passion the following information.

Brother Grover W. Sims of Gardendale Lodge No. 907.

Brother Grover passed on Dec 17, 2015. He has been a faithful Mason since he joined Masonry.

He was initiated 10 Nov 1977, passed on 2 March 1978, and raised on 1 April 1978.

Visitation will be at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville from 5:00p-7:00p on Saturday, 19 December 2015
Funeral will be Sunday at 2:00pm at the same funeral home. No masonic rights have been requested.
He will be sadly missed.

Brother Jimmy O'Dell passed away Friday Morning.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Visitation will be Monday, Nov 30, 2015 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at St. Marks United Methodist Church.
Funeral services are scheduled to immediately follow, Nov 30 at 11:00am also at St. Marks United Methodist Church.

Bro. Jimmy will be cremated prior to the funeral service,so after the service, the place of interment will be at the Catholic Church near St. Marks.

We believe a Military Honor Guard, and any Masonic rites, will be performed at St. Marks.

Please keep the entire family in your prayers. He was also the RW Grand Historian in 2013-2014.

Brother George Clyde Long, CSM (Ret.) at the age of 100 yrs, 286 days passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015. Brother Long served his country in the U. S. Army, serving tours in World War II & The Korean War receiving the Bronze Star & the Purple Heart.

Brother Long is a member of Daleville Lodge 903, having been a Mason for over 72 years. He is a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite, and a member of Alcazar Shrine Temple.

The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Daleville Baptist Church, 100 Donnell Blvd. Interment will follow at Memory Hill with Masonic Rites.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Glen Vaughn and Keith Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Wayne Sims age 79, of Arab, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, January 10, 2015 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born March 19, 1935 to Merman and Nora Sims in Guntersville, AL and was a lifelong resident of Marshall County. He was a member of the Arab Masonic Lodge and the Cahaba Shrine Temple. Mr. Sims had a B.S. degree from Snead State in Engineering and was CEO and Founder of Marshall Precision Manufacturing. He was also an avid huntsman and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia Sims of Arab; Daughter: Deborah Wolfe (Cynthia LaLuna) of Asheville, NC; Sister: Marie Sims (Aaron) Isom of Kilpatrick; grandchildren: Jennifer Safaie and Catherine Safaie both of Atlanta, GA; grandson: Jordan Safaie of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Merman and Nora Sims and his sister: Nellie Pruitt.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Gober Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Flynn officiating. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.

Funeral Details: Funeral services, with Military Honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel in Enterprise, Alabama.

Born 3 September 1939, died 28 July 2014 of cancer complications. She is survived by William J Loerch, her loving husband for 56 years, daughters, Belinda J Hensley, Deborah J Pulley, and Sharon J Miller; 6 grand children and 6 great grand children. She spent many years working with youth as a Girl Scout leader; Elmore County (Big Blue) Band booster and bus driver; volunteer office worker for 9 years at Wares Ferry elementary school; and teacher of crafts and nature with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts at Camp Tukabatchee. (She received the Order of the Arrow.) When it came to children, she loved them all and most of them called her Grandma. Memorial service at Grace Baptist Church, Old Montgomery Hwy, Wetumpka (1 block behind McDonald�s) Saturday August 2, 2014 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the Montgomery Cancer Center, or to the Montgomery Scottish Rite Foundation.
