Grand Court of Connecticut

Order of the Amaranth

Welcome!

The Order of Amaranth is a fraternal, social and charitable organization which endeavors to develop the moral character of its members through the teachings of Truth, Faith, Wisdom and Charity.

The Connecticut Grand Court is now in its 116th year. Our jurisdiction has the singular honor of being the home to Eliza A. Macoy Court No. 1, the oldest subordinate court in the world. There are five other subordinate courts throughout the state.

These are our goals for increasing the attendance of our members, encourage the growth of our Order, making sure that everyone has fun in Amaranth, believing in each other and finding new ideas to accomplish these goals.

Our membership is open to female relatives of Master Masons and Master Masons themselves. Also since 2002, members of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls, the International Order of Jobs Daughters, Order of Triangle and Constellation of Junior Stars who have been active for at least three years, or who have attained majority, are eligible for membership (although such petition must be accompanied by the recommendation of a Master Mason).

Please contact the webmaster if you would like information on how to join!

Fraternally,

Barbara Jean Mangano      Donald Gladding
