Ivan Sariev is the Grand Master of the unified Freemasonry in Bulgaria

Thursday, 27 August 2015 - Sofia, Bulgaria. This summer took place the unification of Freemasonry in Bulgaria after 15 years of divisions and negotiations. On June 20, 2015, over 1,300 Brethren and 44 Lodges of the Grand Lodge of Bulgaria merged with the United Grand Lodge of Bulgaria. Ivan Sariev is the undisputed leader of the Bulgarian Freemasonry as a result of the unification process. The unification ceremony held in Sofia (Hotel Marinella, 11.00 o'clock) was attended by Grand Masters and delegations from Germany, Austria, Russia, Italy, France, Spain, Turkey, Switzerland and the United States of America.

WORLD MASONIC PRESS ABOUT UGLS

Belgrade, March 20th 2015 - After mention of the United Grand Lodges of Serbia at the Conference of the Grand Masters of North America, many articles appeared in the major Masonic news outlets worldwide bringing the official reaction of the UGLS to the comment of the RGLS, as well as statement by the Vladimir S. Markovic, Past Master of the UGLS and the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign affairs of the UGLS.

There was also mention of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Serbia which was founded last year by the members of the United Grand Lodge of Serbia.

This is one more exemple of the recognition of the UGLS in the world and of the interest of the worldwide Masonic community for Freemasonry in Serbia.

Here are only few links of  many,  like Masonic Press Agency, Masonic Times, Masonic Times of Europe and others.
