It is our honor to greet you and welcome you to the pages of the internet presentation of the United Grand Lodges of Serbia. Our web presentation contains an overview of the history of Freemasonry in Serbia, history of the UGLS, as well as the summary of the work, activities, and achievements of the UGLS in the past few years. This presentation is intended to be presented to the general public and to all interested in the subject of Freemasonry.
In past few years, we achieved a lot, and can be proud with our achievements. However, this is not the end of the road. Our work is never finished. But we are convinced that by the application of the ancient tenets and principles of Freemasonry, and by the hard work in the Lodges, we will in the coming years achieve even more and have a reason to be even prouder.
Or as the Past Grand Master of the UGLS, Bro Vladimir S. Markovic, whose vision and contribution to Freemasonry enabled us to enjoy all the achievements we have today, said few years ago: "Freemasonry enables us to, through the insight in our own qualities and shortcomings, suppress bad within us, with the love for our fellowmen, through merciful justice, unchanged wisdom, absolute conscience and truth, we start a pozivive changes within us, in our lives and in our society."
The material presented here is just a small portion of manifold contributions of the members of the UGLS, not only to their own advancement, but to the advancement of their families, of the UGLS, and of the whole Serbian society.
