Safety & Health Awareness Days (SHAD)

We hold two Safety & Health Awareness Days (SHADs) annually for our members. SHADs have proved to be an effective means of sharing good practice through both practical demonstrations and formal presentations. The practical SHAD is aimed at operatives on site and is held at one of our members' plants. The other SHAD is held later in the year and topics cover relevant matters for CEOs, directors and those at senior management level.

These events enable members to gain new perspectives on a variety of topics as guest speakers from the HSE, legal firms, the supply chain and our own members share developments and their own initiatives.

Our next SHAD will be held on 24 November 2016.
