On 20th September 2013, Lodge Leslie Wilson No. 4880 held its Installation Meeting in the Sienna Suite of the Radisson Hotel in Pune, Mahrashtra, India where W. Bro Ashley Eates was proclaimed as Master for a second year.
Amongst the attendees were the following distinguished Brethren. RW Bro Percy J Driver, District Grand Master for the District Grand Lodge of Bombay; RW Bro Kruparkaran David, District Grand Master for the District Grand Lodge of Bengal; RW Bro Vishwanathan Nagarajan, District Grand Master for the District Grand Lodge of Northern India and VW Bro S. Sampath, Deputy District Grand Master for the District Grand Lodge of Madras. Also present were RW Bro Dorab Bajan, P.DGM for Bombay; VW Bro Arun Deshmukh Deputy District Grand Master for Bombay; W Bro S.L.Banerjee, Deputy District Grand Master for Bengal; W Bro Suresh Dixit, Assistant District Grand Master for Bombay and W Bro Pichumani Venkatramen P.ADGM for Bombay.
The meeting was also attended by numerous Grand Lodge and District Grand Lodge Officers as well as Brethren from across the length and breadth of India.
During the ceremony, RW Bro Percy Driver pinned an antique Past Master’s Jewel to the IPM’s collar. This jewel had been acquired at an auction in England by W Bro Brian Locksmith PPAGDC (Essex) who had contacted W Bro Devesh Hingorani, DDGDC who is also the Secretary of Lodge Leslie Wilson to arrange for it to be returned to the Lodge.
