Masonry & Youth
Freemasons have long held a respect for widows and orphans. This has translated in a first class health care organization for the elderly known as Masonicare, and support of youth groups;
Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and the Order of DeMolay for Boys are two international orders that offer Masonic principals as moral guides for youth to learn leadership, self-confidence, and responsibility.
Rainbow operates with twelve Assemblies across the state of Connecticut, each sponsored by a Masonic Lodge. DeMolay operates fourteen Chapters in Connecticut and provides young men with the stepping stones to become Masons if they choose once they turn eighteen.
The Freemasons of Connecticut are proud to be involved with and support these youth organizations that provide young people with keys to unlock their potential.
