My Brothers, Family and Friends,

Do you have a fire within? Since you are associated with this great fraternity, you must have a sense of pride in what we are and what we have done to better the situation of all humanity. This Grand Master’s Appeal gives us all the opportunity to support that effort. The Connecticut Freemasons Foundation is responsible for the charitable donations of the Grand Lodge of Connecticut. The Foundation uses income from its endowment, and your personal donations to the Grand Master’s Appeal, to fund it’s worthwhile giving.

Is the Fire burning???? Will you answer it’s call ????

Many of our lodges and brothers do not know what the Connecticut Freemasons Foundation is or what it does. For the last decade, the Connecticut Freemasons Foundation has been the best kept secret in Connecticut. Your Grand Lodge’s charitable efforts have been carried out through the Connecticut Freemasons Foundation, Inc. This is a 501(c)3 corporation organized to accept tax deductible contributions. Your continued support will enhance our ability to help the organizations associated with our Masonic Family.

This year, the Connecticut Freemasons Foundation, Inc. is pleased to expand its support to include providing an annual contribution to the Grand Almoner's Fund within the Grand Lodge of Connecticut. This fund is being established to provide immediate financial aid to distressed Brothers and widows. Your generous response to this Grand Master's Appeal will benefit the Grand Almoner's Fund as well as assuring continued support of the organizations listed below.  Please give what you can without injury to yourself.

2015 Contributions from the Connecticut Freemasons Foundation totaled $110,000 to the following organizations:

International Order of Rainbow for Girls Masonic, Model Assist Program, CT DeMolay, Boston Burns Unit - Shriners Hospital, CT CHIP Shriners Hospital for Children - Springfield, Masonic Charity Foundation/Quality of Life/Tree of Life Grand Lodge Library, George Washington National Masonic Memorial, Organ Donor Project, 32nd Degree Children's Dyslexia Center of CT, InterNational Masonichip, Masonic Service Association,  Roaring Brook ((5) years starting 3/2015), Masonic Medical Research Lab, Misc Others.

Please keep the fire burning and donate to help all those we support!!!

Fraternally,

Charles W. Yohe, Grand Master
