Masonic Furniture Donations

It is common for the members of Freemasonry who are associated with the foundation of the building or lodge to donate items for use by the organisation being set up.

Such was the case with the Collingwood United Masonic Temple Trust. This legal entity was later renamed to the Collingwood Masonic Centre Incorporated when the Trust was converted to an Association.

Freemasons and the wives and daughters of Freemasons were very generous and donated many items in the building which are still used today. They are a living testament to the commitment of people, both men and woman, to building a Masonic Building in Abbotsford.
