Misson Statement

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of Freemasonry is to promote a way of life that binds like-minded men in a world-wide brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social and educational differences; by teaching the Great Principles of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth; by the outward expression of its concern, and by finding ways in which to serve God, family, country, neighbours and self.

THE THREE GREAT PRINCIPLES

BROTHERLY LOVE
Freemasons are expected to show tolerance and respect for the opinions of others, and behave with kindness and understanding to all people.

RELIEF
Freemasons practise charity, and care, not only for their own fraternity, but also for the community as a whole, both by charitable giving and by voluntary works as individuals.

TRUTH
Freemasons strive for truth in their quest to achieve higher moral standards.

THE CORE VALUES OF FREEMASONRY

FREEMASONS

practise universal charity;

provide opportunities for self-development;

build friendships;

foster moral standards;

seek excellence in all pursuits.
